Hello students! My name is Mrs. Anna Bankhead Odom. I will be your science teacher this school year. I'd like to tell you a few things about myself.

My parents are David and Mary Jane Bankhead. My wonderful father works at Dieffenbach Chevrolet and my precious mother is a retired teacher. I have one brother. His name is David also. He recently served four years in the United States Coast Guard and now attends East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. My husband's name is Bradley Odom. He works for the North Carolina Department of Transportation. We have a dog named Charlie that we adopted from the Humane Society and a baby boy on the way. We're so excited!

After graduating from Peace College, I decided to follow in my mother's footsteps and become a teacher myself. I taught at Washington Street School for five years and I am looking forward to a great school year at Rockingham Middle!
